Milk Skin
the future of underwear
What is Milk Skin?
At Maryl, we believe that the base layer of clothing that is always in contact with our skin deserves maximum attention. That's why we teamed up with experts and brought something to the Czech market that wasn't there before. A circular fabric made from waste milk protein.
Milk Skin is a circular fabric made from waste milk protein. Thermoregulating, hypoallergenic and naturally hydrating, it creates underwear that will support you whether you're spending the day outdoors or at work.
Why is Milk Skin special?
Milk protein is derived from cow's milk that is no longer fit for consumption. Instead of it ending up as waste, we turn it into a highly functional fiber. This fiber is used to create a substance that is:
- Thanks to the amino acids in the substance, it supports skin hydration
- Hypoallergenic: Safe for sensitive skin and those with lactose allergies
- Thermoregulatory: Keeps you warm in the winter, cool in the heat.
- Antibacterial: Stay fresh even on the most intense days.
- Sustainable: Processing dairy waste reduces environmental impact.
- UVA and UVB protection
How does it all work?
Milk protein is extracted from waste milk obtained from the food industry that would otherwise be thrown away, processed and converted into fibers, which are then woven into fabric.
The result is a material that is soft, breathable and super functional.
And because we really care about quality, all processes take place in Europe so we can guarantee the highest quality.
We are the first in the Czech Republic.
We are the first in the Czech Republic to bring this innovative fabric to underwear.
Our Italian suppliers are among the best in their field and together with them we have created a product that is not only sustainable but also highly functional. Milk Skin is proof that the combination of technology, nature and responsibility can make even ordinary milk completely revolutionary. Milk Skin is OEKO-TEX® 100, REACH certified and guaranteed by the Polytechnic University of Milan.
